RSS feeds can keep you up to date with content on the web without you having to submit your email address or create any sort of account. Almost all modern browsers have a built in RSS reader but you can download a standalone reader if you so please.

Facebook can read RSS
To subscribe to an RSS feed using your Facebook wall simply visit the wall and select options, then settings. Click on the orange Blog/RSS option and enter the URL (link) of the RSS feed.
